Belles Heures

“Like the illuminated Books of Hours from the 15th century, creating my Belles Heures was a devotional act. I drew each comic straight to ink while the memory was still fresh, adding gray washes later. Some are single panel snapshots, others are longer sequences, and all of them are part of an active story that is still unfolding.”
